Umoyo’s Essential Oils are natural oils that have been extracted from some of nature’s finest plants. They are concentrated oils that capture the plant’s natural scent and flavor, or “essence.”


The oils are obtained through traditional steam distillation or cold-press.

 

They can be inhaled during the practice of aromatherapy to help stimulate areas of your limbic system, a part of your brain that plays a role in emotions, behaviors, sense of smell, and long-term memory.  They can also be diluted and applied to the skin (commonly added to carrier oils such as Grape Seed Oil, Almond Oil, Moringa Oil, etc), providing you with medicinal and beauty benefits when absorbed.

ROSE GERANIUM 

Rose Geranium is known to lift the spirit and relieve anxiety. It is useful in treating premenstrual syndrome and menopausal problems. It has a balancing effect on the skin and can be used on all skin types including oily and problematic skin. 



TEA TREE

Tea tree oil is distilled from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant. The oil possesses antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It is commonly used to treat acne, athlete's foot, dermatitis and head lice. Also very useful in “cleaning” the air of a room, and can be useful when treating colds & flu. 



SWEET ORANGE 

This warm sweet-smelling oil is cold-pressed from the ripe or almost ripe outer peel of the Orange fruit. The oil has a fresh and fruity aroma, which has a refreshing effect. It is valuable in treating dry skin and renewing dull complexions.



EUCALYPTUS

Eucalyptus oil is known for its refreshing and stimulating properties. It is excellent for aromatherapy as it aids breathing, relieves congestion, and helps cool the body. It also helps in treating throat infections, colds, and flu. 



LEMONGRASS

Lemongrass oil is known for its amazing invigorating, reviving, and energizing properties. The oil helps to boosts the body during recovery from illness and jetlag. It also acts as a good insect repellent.




CLOVE 

Clove essential oil has antimicrobial properties which help kill bacteria. It is also known to be a pain reliever for toothaches and muscle pain. It aids digestion and helps to treat various digestive upsets. It also relieves respiratory conditions like cough and asthma.
